Burlap pumpkins with tutorial

I have "fall fever"!!! I am sooo ready for pumpkins, scarecrows, chili, and fall festivites!! I started making my fall decor last weekend and once I got started, I couldn't stop myself!!!! I think burlap is the perfect material for this craft and it comes in a variety of colors! I made most of them with burlap but then I moved on to other fabric to create a "bunch" of pumpkins!!!!

Ok so lets get started!!! This is my first tutorial so please be patient ;)

Supplies: Burlap, scissors, twine or other imbellishments, sticks, beans (or something to weigh down your pumpkin), ziploc bag, heavy duty thread, needle, glue gun, tape and paper (I used scraps of freezer paper due to my obssession of freezer paper stenciling).
Cut a circle of burlap. You can make it big because the end pumpkin will be considerably smaller. It doesnt have to be a perfect circle, just cut away. The more oval it is will modify your pumpkins. That way if you make a bunch, no two will be the same!

Put your needle in the burlap and make a knot. This will become understood in the next few steps.

Stitch a running stitch all the way around the outside of your burlap circle.

Start pulling the thread and it will magically draw up the sides and form a bowl.

Take your beans and put them in a ziploc bag and fold up excess and tape all around to form a "bean bag".
At this point, you put the bag of beans or whatever you used as a weight in the bottom. Then you crumple up your paper and place it in the pumpkin. Place the stick down in the center and generously put glue all around the stick so the burlap will stick to the stick LOL! (Sorry I forgot to take pics of this part)

Then you pull the thread really tight and clip the thread. I put a dot of glue on the thread just in case ;)

Good Luck making yours!!! I hope I have inspired someone to get "fall fever"! LOL
